Engagement Party.
Our friend John driven a little crazy by the fountain d'chocolat.
Last night my parents hosted a little shindig in honor of our engagement. There was wine, cheese (much to Alex's delight), salmon, a chocolate fountain, and lots of good friends to share in our excitement. It was a fitting start to a year's worth of celebrations. Here are some pictures (thanks Katie Moon).

chocolate fountain, you say? now THAT's a party!
First let me congratulate the happy couple. Second let me say I am glad to know that one of us (meaning Sara or I) has finally done it. And by "done it", I mean finding a man who is not totally intimidated by our overwhelming beauty and intelligence. Alex, you must be a very confident person to feel like you are able to marry someone who is smarter and better looking than you (no offense). That is to your credit though, you knew if you didn't snatch her up someone else would. So you are the lucky (and extremely blessed) man that will be able to spend the rest of his life showing Sara how truely valuble and precious she is. (And by the way Sara, you beat me)
Hi Sara. Congrats on being engaged. I think you should link to your good friends Jeff and Aubrey's blog.
