Meeting Molly.

While in St. Louis we were able to introduce Ada to a very special person, Miss Molly. We had a great time at Kayak's and hope that Molly has a great first semester at college.

First Flight.

We've just returned from a visit to St. Louis. This was Ada's first time on an airplane and she did a great job. We had a great week, full of some of our favorite St. Louis spots and people. We hated to leave but were excited to head back home to Savannah to see Papa. Our journey home was a bit rocky but Ada managed to hold it together despite delays, thunderstorms, missed flights, and a late return home. (sorry the pictures are out of order....blogger is giving me trouble)

Me? Shove both my hands in my mouth at once? Never! I'm a lady!

More July 4th Pictures.

Our friends Nate and Laura Henderson run a photography business, Open Light Studio.

They took some pictures at the July 4th party that we were at, and blogged about below. There are some really good pictures of Sara and Ada. Oh, and yes, those are my seer-suckered legs in the croquet picture.

The Corteses come to town.

The Corteses were in Hilton Head for the week and stopped to spend Sunday afternoon with us before heading back to Crystal River. We enjoyed a nice lunch and a lovely walk around downtown. Thanks for coming!

4th of July.

We spent the evening of the Fourth with some friends. Alex had a go at horseshoes and croquete. We didn't stay for sparklers but made it home in time to see some of the downtown fireworks from the comfort of our living room.

Too cool for the pool.....

Thanks to Mrs. Maggie, Ada is now ready for the pool in her new swimsuit. The sunglasses are a tribute to Huntleigh (she is Ada's style icon!).
