Graduation
Here are some long over-due pictures from my graduation on July 5th. We had a great day in Glasgow - the weather was great, and everything went without a hitch. It was a pretty good ceremoney - a lot of which was in Latin, including the University Academic anthem which we sang as the Academic procession entered. The Bute Hall, in which I graduated is built upon pillars, with cloisters underneath, and it was there that a drinks reception was held after the ceremony. It was all pretty cool really.
This picture shows the Bute Hall in which I graduated. We had to walk up this first ramp, and then got hit on the head with a cap by the Principal of Glasgow University, who was seated upon the throne, and then we walked down the other ramp, and back to our seats. Simple.
So, now I am Alexander Brown MA (Hons.), Bth.
