I'm sure some of you have heard about the terrible weather we've been having here in the midwest. We had to travel to central Illinois on Monday and Tuesday for a funeral and we ended up driving in some of the worst of the weather. Most of central Illinois was under a blizzard watch as we were driving on small country roads. We made it home safely. It only took us 3 hours more than it normally does! Here are some pictures from the road and a few picture of my Auntie Mac and Uncle Hubert.

I've been having some major computer problems so the promised pictures from our trip have not been added yet. Here are a few, though. I'm wishing I was back on the beach in Florida with Alex. That was so much better than being cold and alone in Saint Louis. Only 30 days, though. 30 days and counting....

This is a picture of us with our friends Sam and Carole, who live in the Villages, in Florida. We met up with them for lunch in Ocala in January. The hurricane last night missed their house by 500 yards!

So, I am home. Back in Carnoustie. I got back at 6pm(ish) this evening. The travelling was good, and pretty hassle free. Although I had to walk a lot in Minneapolis and Amsterdam.

Well, I am home now. But in 39 days, Miss Sara arrives here! Woo hoo! I could not eat until she comes here and not do irreversable damage to my body - thats not a long time at all! Yo!
